Off the Eaten Path Packaging

Off the Eaten Path

Off the Eaten Path is a packaging design for a range of premium plant based snacks. The snacks combine real vegetables such as chickpeas, black beans and peas in unexpected blends. The packaging gives the brand a united visual identity across every application. The design aims to help the brand stand out within the crowded better for you snack category. A small group of consumers took part in the development process and gave feedback at each stage. Consumer input guided the design decisions and supported a consistent brand experience.

Off the Eaten Path Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation was identified as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Off the Eaten Path Packaging received the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that celebrates exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
