Nido
Nido is a lounge chair designed for outdoor spaces. The design expresses relaxation and comfort through its visible form, so that comfort is understood at first sight. The frame is made of thick aluminium tubes, welded and brushed at a single point. Soft stripes of rubber filled polyester are hand woven through a structure of thin aluminium tubes. The powder coated finish is certified for outdoor use. Nido measures 113 cm in depth, 87 cm in height and 65 cm in width. The simple structure gives the lounge chair a minimal form with an iconic appearance.
Nido Seat by bernardi lodovico has been identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Nido Seat was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2020. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
