Anxin
Anxin is an exhibition center designed to present forest farm resources. The curved form of wood shavings is the main inspiration for the interior. Curved walls of scattered and stacked logs surround the exhibition hall and create a quiet atmosphere. The large logs give visitors the impression of standing in a forest. At the entrance, a map shows the distribution of the forest farm resources of Anxin around the world. The map is made of log waste. A specially designed rotating plate adds interaction to the space. The center is built entirely from waste wood to support environmental care.
Anxin Exhibition Center by Po Chun Tu has been highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Anxin Exhibition Center was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
