Migma Hydrogen Powered Catamaran

Migma

Migma is a hydrogen-powered electric catamaran of 180 feet. The vessel runs without noise and without emissions. The name comes from the Greek word for mixture, and refers to the blend of technical rationality and natural fluidity. The exterior structure is inspired by animal shells and is made mainly of duralumin, with electrochromatic smart glass. A central stairway shaped like a spine links the lower deck, the salon and meeting level and the pilot house above. The interior is minimalist and offers panoramic views.

Migma Hydrogen Powered Catamaran by Ruma Design was highlighted as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Migma Hydrogen Powered Catamaran earned the Iron A' Design Award in Yacht and Marine Vessels Design in 2020. The A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that honors exceptional design of sailboats, motor yachts, catamarans, trimarans, superyachts, explorer yachts, sportfishing yachts, luxury houseboats and more.
