Seasoning Series Design is a set of packaging for soy sauce, pepper and mustard. The soy sauce pot is made of kaolin fired with a transparent glaze, and the lid and body are joined by concave and convex marks. Its slightly concave top allows the index finger to rest naturally while pouring. The pepper bag is made of 135 gram sulphate paper, with an enlarged pinch area that acts as a handle for easier shaking. The pepper gathers at the bottom for simple tearing and pouring. The slender mustard bag is vacuum packed in PE film for controlled squeezing.
New Seasoning Packaging by Yiting Liu has been highlighted as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. New Seasoning Packaging received the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
