Interdependence
Interdependence is a public service poster created to raise attention to wildlife protection. The poster shows a dinner plate. On the left side lie dead wild animals, a bat and a pangolin. On the right side lies an infected human lung with a coronavirus shape inside. The blood of the animals spreads to form the shape of the lung, and the blood vessels of the lung are drawn as tree branches. The image links the eating of wild animals with infection and states that protecting wild animals protects people. The poster measures 70 by 50 centimetres and is shown outdoors and online.
Interdependence Poster Design by Haitao Song was identified as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Interdependence Poster Design won the Iron A' Design Award in Social Design in 2020. The A' Social Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which recognizes excellent design of community projects, social campaigns, public installations, educational programs, sustainable initiatives, healthcare solutions, inclusive design, cultural interactions and more.
