Mini Bike
Mini Bike is a folding electric bicycle designed for short trips in dense urban areas. The frame combines aluminium, carbon and steel to keep the total weight at 11.5 kilograms. Twenty inch wheels support the small and compact concept, and the bicycle folds quickly for carrying and storage. The battery is hidden inside the frame. The geometry follows that of a full size bicycle, so the riding behaviour remains smooth and stable. The design was developed from insights collected from 500 people living in urban areas.
Mini Bike Electric Bicycle by Brian Kenneth Høhl has been identified as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Mini Bike Electric Bicycle was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design in 2020. The A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards superior design of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, buses, trains, ships, aircrafts and more.
