Poly Chief Palace
Poly Chief Palace is a sales center in the Tiexi District of Shenyang. The facade uses a three-part composition that combines Chinese architectural details with industrial details drawn from the surrounding old industrial base. Pipelines, metal frames and valve assemblies are reinterpreted as building components. In the spatial structure, the Four Treasures of the Study are expressed in architectural language: the wall as paper, a moon-like sculpture as the inkstone, an infinity pool as ink, and trees as the brush.
Poly Chief Palace Sales Center by HYP-ARCH DESIGN has been highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Poly Chief Palace Sales Center won the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which recognizes outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
