25 Nano
25 Nano is an artistic light instrument to represent ephemeral and permanence, birth and death. Working with Spring Pool Glass Industrial CO., LTD, whose vision is building a systematic glass recycle loop for a sustainable future, 25 Nano chose the relatively fragile bubble as a medium in contrast with solid glass to embody the idea. In the instrument, light shimmers through life cycles of the bubble, projecting rainbow-like color and shadows to the environment, creating a dreamy atmosphere around the user.
25 Nano Ambient Light by Ray Teng Pai was selected as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. 25 Nano Ambient Light won the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2020. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that honors outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
