Zhangtai Haitang Bay
Zhangtai Haitang Bay is a sales center located in Beihai, Guangxi, China. The interior covers 2206 square meters and serves a residential project next to Dadun Sea. The design blurs the boundaries between architecture, art and culture, and brings the space closer to nature. Large white surfaces extend the interior, while smooth curves follow the form of the building. Spiral stairs and interspersed curves pass between different building materials. The spatial layout is kept flexible, because the center is planned to serve as a community clubhouse in the future.
Zhangtai Haitang Bay Sales Center by 31 Design Shenzhen has been highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Zhangtai Haitang Bay Sales Center was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
