Waycludi
Waycludi is a wayfinding system designed for a county hospital in Pruszkow, Poland. The system follows the seven principles of universal design, so the information is useful for all visitors, and especially for people with special needs or reduced functionality. About fifty dedicated icons and a special typeface were created for the project. High contrast and clear legibility were kept in every element, and the signs are matched to specific places in the building. The aim is to help each patient find the shortest route to the doctor's office.
Waycludi Signage Hospital System by Małgorzata Sobocinska-Kiss has been recognized as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
