Grayscale Reversal
Grayscale Reversal is a residential interior design completed in Taipei, Taiwan, in 2018. The home was planned for a woman who works in stock market education and often receives friends and students. White, black and gold form the visual theme of the space. Titanium, laminate and mirror materials are combined with crystal lamps and imitation stone textures. Large windows in the public areas bring natural light and outdoor views inside. Partitions are reduced to create an open field where work and rest are both supported.
Grayscale Reversal Residence by Yueh Ju Tsai has been selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Grayscale Reversal Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
