Min Ben Chi
Min Ben Chi is a dessert shop interior located in Tainan, covering 132.23 square meters. The design brings together modern and classical elements. Part of the original building was preserved, and traces of formwork left on the ceiling and columns create a patina effect. Classical arcs appear on the arch door, the wall surface, the light stand, the couch, the cupboard feet, the chair and the golden spiral staircase that leads to the second floor. Lighting creates a translucent brightness by day and a softer glow at night.
Min Ben Chi Dessert Shop by FU CHIUNG HUI has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Min Ben Chi Dessert Shop earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
