Elytra
Elytra is designed in a way that allows the user easy access to increase the table top surface because of its non-static nature. The biomimetic, dynamic table's surfaces are split into four broad parts, including a wooden "head" and "body" as well as two glass-inlay wings that can be opened out simultaneously to expand the table's surface to store an extra few cups of tea, a planter or two, and perhaps a notebook to doodle your ideas on.
Elytra Space Saver Coffee Table by Radhika Dhumal has been featured as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Elytra Space Saver Coffee Table was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that recognizes exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
