Buddy
Buddy is a table light designed for focused work. The rounded body is topped with an adjustable head that can be tilted down to light a task or angled up to provide ambient light. Brightness is controlled by a dimmer switch on the cord. Buddy is made with fused deposition modeling 3D printing, using a plant based polymer derived from sugar crops. Each light is produced in California and hand finished with water based marine paints. The compact form suits an office, a study, a bedside table or a living room.
Buddy Table Light by Mona Sharma was recognized as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Buddy Table Light was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2021. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which recognizes excellent design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
