Milano Living Green
Milano Living Green is a residential complex designed for a former industrial area in Milan. The project reuses the volume of the existing construction and follows the concept of floating gardens. Two buildings hold 51 apartments of mixed sizes, each with balconies and private double height gardens. Shared spaces include an entrance hall, indoor and outdoor lounges, an indoor swimming pool and large green areas planted with trees. The apartments meet high energy class standards, which reduces the environmental impact of the complex.
Milano Living Green Residential Complex by Marco Guido Savorelli was selected as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Milano Living Green Residential Complex won the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
