Grandblue
Grandblue is an office reception and lounge interior located in Guangzhou. The space was formerly dominated by many entries and exits, and has been turned into a warm welcome area. The symmetrical layout was replaced by an open plan that improves accessibility and supports contact between people. The design follows a modern blue theme drawn from water and the ocean. A white reception desk repeats this theme. A large illuminated screen behind the desk presents the brand image and marks the start of the colorful lounge area.
Grandblue Interior Design by Joe Ho has been recognized as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Grandblue Interior Design received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
