Qianjiang House
Qianjiang House is a sales center located in Hangzhou, China, covering 2000 square metres. The interior is fully assembled from prefabricated parts, and the recyclable construction supports a green and healthy concept. A Mobius strip, a symbol of the infinite cycle, is expressed as a visible visual form. Spiral pendant lamps recall a ribbon in motion within the large space. The negotiation area uses soft light colours, leather and silk fabric inspired by the Jiangnan oil-paper umbrella. Furniture is detachable and washable where possible, and the air purification system is closely controlled.
Qianjiang House Sales Center by By Design has been identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Qianjiang House Sales Center received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
