Rosefinch Hot Pot
Rosefinch Hot Pot is a restaurant interior of 400 square meters located inside a shopping mall. The facade is 50 meters long and follows a flowing curved form that recalls a range of low hills. Horizontal and vertical structural elements replace the usual box shape, and the arcs extend the space in the lengthwise direction. The reception area at the main entrance repeats the same flowing form, and the lighting suggests cloud around a hillside. Materials include black titanium stainless steel, rippled mirror stainless steel, terrazzo, marble, jade, brass, wood and leather.
Rosefinch Hot Pot Restaurant by Jason Chan has been highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Rosefinch Hot Pot Restaurant earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
