Unlimited Center Of Art
Unlimited Center of Art is an art center interior located in Hebei, China. The design covers 3200 square meters and contains two independent spaces, a community entrance and an art center. Galleries, multi-functional exhibition halls and outdoor plazas support daily art activities. Artworks are placed at the center of the space, and natural daylight is guided into the main display areas. Openings in the building skin are reduced to create a dark interior. The main material is algae clay, and black bamboo curtains and a recycled steel structure complete the design.
Unlimited Center Of Art Exhibition by Zhao Shu was selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Unlimited Center Of Art Exhibition earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
