MOME
MOME is a university campus designed for art and design education. The campus consists of three buildings, named Base, Master and Up. The suspended structure of Base allows flexible use of each floor, with floor slabs held by a triple steel core suspended from post-tensioned concrete beams. Up is covered by a double-shell glass lamella system that provides shading and natural ventilation. In Master, the inner walls were replaced with soundproof glass walls. The gross built area is 15,851 square meters.
MOME Campus by 3h Architects Ltd. was recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. MOME Campus won the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that honors superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
