Nireeka Nyx
Nireeka Nyx is an electric bicycle designed for off-road and trail riding. The main frame is made of monocoque carbon fiber, which is light and stiff at the same time. Front and rear suspension give a smooth ride. Instead of manual assist levels, the motor output is set by the heart rate of the rider, so the added power feels natural. A gyro assist system also adjusts the motor output to the inclination of the slope, which helps to extend the battery range. The frame uses curved, flowing surfaces rather than the simple triangular tubes common in bicycle design.
Nireeka Nyx Electric Bicycle by Mohammadreza Shojaie was recognized as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Nireeka Nyx Electric Bicycle received the Golden A' Design Award in Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design in 2021. The A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes superior design of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, buses, trains, ships, aircrafts and more.
