Chaoyue Nantang
Chaoyue Nantang is a sales office interior in Ningbo, China, covering 1000 square meters. The design recalls the marine civilization and the shipping history of the harbor city through a museum-like method of display. Natural landscape elements are brought inside, so the space feels open and relaxed. A plant installation made of ship wood eroded by seawater refers to past local culture. A photographic work titled Sea expresses respect for the ocean and for nature. The art pieces strengthen the theme and add richness to the space.
Chaoyue Nantang Sales Office by ZN DESIGN was recognized as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Chaoyue Nantang Sales Office received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
