Professor Watermelon Mouthwash Packaging

Professor Watermelon

Professor Watermelon is a mouthwash packaging design created for young consumers. The bottles are made of a degradable PET material, and the labels are printed on special paper with spot color technology. The large bottle holds 550 ml and has a separate outer cap marked with a capacity scale, so the mouthwash can be measured and poured without direct contact. A smaller bottle of 100 ml is also offered for travel. The small bottle can be refilled from the large bottle and used again. The overall form is simple and compact.

Professor Watermelon Mouthwash Packaging by Xin GaoWei has been identified as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Professor Watermelon Mouthwash Packaging received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which rewards exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
