Bauhinia Business Center
Ningbo Bauhinia Business Center is an office interior of 1548 square meters located in Ningbo, China. The design takes its inspiration from the container terminals of the port city. Container forms, bright colors and geometric blocks are arranged in an orderly way to create an industrial character. Each individual space is treated as a box that is stacked and redistributed to form open areas. Industrial die-cast corrugated metal panels add texture. Movable partitions divide the meeting area, which can stay open or be closed for privacy.
Bauhinia Business Center Office by Andy Leung was identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bauhinia Business Center Office received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
