Winsome Cottage
A Winsome Cottage is a residential interior design for a family home of 138.84 square meters. The color scheme draws on the classical blue, grey, black and gold tones of a French cigar pavilion, and these colors are applied to the wallpaper, the lighting and the desk in the living area and the bedroom. A fixed open bookshelf and wall racks make reading a central activity of the home. The desk is made of antibacterial FENIX NTM material and is supported by white marble. An open layout replaces partitions, so each area is connected and well used.
Winsome Cottage Residential House by Yu Ruei Chen was selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Winsome Cottage Residential House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
