The Saints Wear White
The Saints Wear White envisions the interior walls and ceilings of a church in China's Hubei province, where the COVID-19 pandemic began, transformed into a mural depicting doctors and nurses dressed in white protective gear. Taking inspiration from church painting and fresco, it is an homage that expresses gratitude to medical workers.
The Saints Wear White Chapel by Duyi Han was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Saints Wear White Chapel was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
