Past time
Past Time is a sales center located in Harbin, China, with an interior area of 800 square meters. The design draws on local architectural heritage. Red brick, a common texture on the exterior walls of old buildings in Harbin, is brought indoors as a background wall to recall the past. An art corridor displays photographs of workers from a steelmaking plant, linking the space with the history of the city. Simple leather surfaces are combined with bronze and golden frames and a large art installation, so that historical references meet contemporary design.
Past time Sales Center by 熊比尔 has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Past time Sales Center won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
