Silhouettes
Silhouettes is a table lamp designed for additional lighting in homes and at the workplace. The lamp is 500 mm high and is formed by metal elements of the same shape in different scales, following the nesting principle of matryoshka dolls. These elements can be moved to change the appearance of the lamp. The elements can also be aligned in one plane, so the lamp packs flat and needs less packaging, material and transport space. A sphere of frosted glass at the center holds an LED board. The lamp is made of a metal frame, frosted glass and a fabric wire.
Silhouettes Lamp by Alexey Danilin was highlighted as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Silhouettes Lamp earned the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2021. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
