Lunalux
Lunalux is a wearable light therapy device designed for neck skin care. The device also offers hot compress and vibration massage functions. Light energy is used to support blood circulation and cell activity in the neck area. The shells are made of medical silicone and ABS, formed by injection moulding and assembled with snap fits and metal screws. Precise design of the lighting angle gives a wide area of illumination and allows a slender form. Lunalux is worn like a neck ornament and leaves the hands free at home, at work or while travelling.
Lunalux Light Therapy Device by Wei Shi has been identified as a creative example of product design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lunalux Light Therapy Device was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Beauty, Personal Care and Cosmetic Products Design in 2021. The A' Beauty, Personal Care and Cosmetic Products Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of lipsticks, foundations, eyeliners, mascara, blushes, concealers, nail polishes, perfumes and more.
