Imilab
Imilab is a smart desk lamp designed for home use and eye comfort. The lamp has a minimalist geometric form and a side-emitting light mode that prevents direct glare. No blue light or visible flicker is produced during operation. Brightness is adjusted automatically according to the surrounding light, and control is also possible by voice or through a mobile application. A built-in camera with a microphone allows children and parents to talk over a distance, and a physical shield covers the camera to protect privacy.
Imilab Eye Protection Lamp by Kaining Li was highlighted as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Imilab Eye Protection Lamp won the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2021. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that celebrates outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
