Destroy Public Welfare Posters

Destroy

Destroy is a public welfare poster created to encourage the protection of nature and wildlife. The poster uses graphic reconstruction, combining several elements into a single silhouette. Only a part of a panda is shown, so viewers mentally complete the whole animal, following principles of Gestalt psychology. Black and white are the only colours used, which gives the composition a strong visual impact. The poster measures 210 by 297 millimetres. Destroy is distributed electronically online and can also be printed on adhesive stickers or photo paper.

Destroy Public Welfare Posters by Lin Lin was highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Destroy Public Welfare Posters earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
