Daejeon Bruce Rice Cake Redesign
Daejeon Bruce Rice Cake Redesign is a packaging design for a rice cake product sold by a confectionery company in the Daejeon area. Graphics of nine major landmarks of Daejeon are printed on the packaging, so buyers receive local tourism information together with the product. The range is divided into three series by flavour, and each series uses the natural colour of its main ingredient to show the taste. Product names appear in Korean and English. Thick paper is used, so the package can stand or lie flat and is not easily damaged.
Daejeon Bruce Rice Cake Redesign Packaging Design by Choulsoon Park was recognized as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Daejeon Bruce Rice Cake Redesign Packaging Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
