The Pilgrimage
Lang Song minor seminary, where preserves the history of forming the Vietnamese national script, with outstanding architecture and landscape on rice fields are the inspiration for a community based tourism development. The idea of preserving and promoting heritage value in a new age is expressed through urban planning and design around a square, recreating the connection with the river. Pilgrimage to Lang Song is a journey to find the origin of modern script. By the functional spaces and light, the design aims to give visitors a sense of sacred land converging the cultural essence of the area.
The Pilgrimage CBT Development by Scene Plus was recognized as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Pilgrimage CBT Development was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design in 2021. The A' Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which celebrates superior design of cultural heritage projects, cultural conversation, preservation, restoration and protection projects, heritage architecture and more.
