Yanjing White Beer
Yanjing White Beer is a packaging design for bottled and canned beer. The graphics combine Chinese and German cultural references, with colors drawn from a German football uniform and images of malt and hops as a tribute to Germany, the origin of white beer. A shield shaped title panel highlights the product name and keeps the layout balanced. The can follows the size of an average palm for a secure hold, and the tapered bottle can be gripped at any height. The bottle is made of recyclable glass and the can of recyclable aluminum.
Yanjing White Beer Liquor Package by Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co., Ltd. has been highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Yanjing White Beer Liquor Package earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
