Elegance House
Elegance House is a residential apartment interior of 77 square meters in Taipei City. The design builds on classical elements and renews them with a modern vocabulary. Inspired by ripples, the shaped form is applied to the cabinets and the ceiling. Door panels of white wood veneer carve out classical curves, paired with titanium-plated handles with a copper shine. Metallic spray replaces traditional moldings on the ceiling. A low wall separates the living and dining rooms without blocking the view, making full use of the limited space.
Elegance House Residential Apartment by Chia-Lun Chan has been highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Elegance House Residential Apartment won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
