Alishan Forest
Alishan Forest is a set of four seasonal event designs created for a national forest recreation area. Each event responds to a seasonal feature of the forest: cherry blossoms in spring, sacred trees in summer, maple leaves in autumn and sunrise in winter. The program includes a floral concert, an open-air cinema, a painting party in transparent houses and a sunrise picnic. All settings are built with transparent, wooden or natural materials. The aim is to renew the image of the forest and to encourage respect and coexistence with nature.
Alishan Forest Aesthetic Event Proposals by SHAN MAI FOOD was highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Alishan Forest Aesthetic Event Proposals received the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that celebrates exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
