It has a welcoming atmosphere and the Washoku world view is further emphasized by the Japanese garden which is filled with seasonal plants and flowers, and the interior decorated with Japanese traditional materials which creates a distinctly Japanese atmosphere. In a limited space, it is designed efficiently without waste. The highlight of this space is the area where the counter height seats are, which overlooks a large window. The space becomes one with the Japanese garden outside the window which in turn creates an air of openness.
Ebisu Japanese Restaurant by SHUNSUKE OHE has been identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Ebisu Japanese Restaurant earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
