Caribbean Villa
Caribbean Villa is a private residence located in a north-west suburb of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The two-storey home covers 5200 square feet and includes four ensuite bedrooms, a media room, a home office and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The exterior follows a traditional style, while the interior is modern. The foyer staircase, with an iron rail, hardwood treads and tiled risers, forms the main feature. A 30 foot white quartzite wall and a 15 foot window bring daylight into a small sitting area.
Caribbean Villa Residential House by Randall Waddell was identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Caribbean Villa Residential House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
