Glacier
Glacier is a food washing machine for home kitchens. Glacier removes residual pesticides, heavy metals, fertilizers and bacteria with a hydroxyl water ion generator. The body is produced by injection molding in ABS and PC, and a large transparent area gives the machine a layered appearance. Abstract polygons and wide indicator lights recall a natural glacier and suggest purity and stability. A large control panel on the front holds buttons for meat, fruit and vegetables, so food is placed inside and one touch starts the cleaning.
Glacier Food Washing Machine by sxdesign was recognized as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Glacier Food Washing Machine received the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2021. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which celebrates superior design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
