NamKwong Diehu Center
Nam Kwong Diehu Center is a mixed-use complex designed for Qidong, Jiangsu, China. The site lies in the central business district, next to Diehu Lake. The design is divided into three plots. One plot holds the working and commercial areas, and two plots hold the residential areas. The form of the twin towers is inspired by the shape of a butterfly, following the local name of Diehu Lake. The complex covers a total area of 304,000 square meters. Ecological residences and fitness parks support a healthy community.
NamKwong Diehu Center Complex by Peng Architects Inc. has been highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. NamKwong Diehu Center Complex won the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
