Mixc Food Hall
Mixc Food Hall is a food hall interior design located in Ningbo, China. The design creates an integrated one-stop dining place that is open to all kinds of diners. Local food culture is combined with the theme of eating at the right time. Circulation paths follow the shape of a canal, and showcases on both sides create the feeling of a market, recalling the lively atmosphere of the old port. Floor-to-ceiling metal mesh and butterfly details are inspired by a contemporary sculpture. Murals tell the fishing story of the port city through the seasons.
Mixc Food Hall Space by Eric Yang has been highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mixc Food Hall Space received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
