Hannover Re
Hannover Re is an office interior spanning 30,000 square feet over two storeys in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Curved lines link the floor and the ceiling to create a sense of seamless circulation. Shades of blue in a gradient transition frame the floating reception island. Different flooring and finishes separate the zones without physical dividers. An island layout places the head of department section at the centre and makes use of daylight along the perimeter windows. Indoor greenery adds privacy and storage, and supports a domestic atmosphere that encourages teamwork.
Hannover Re Office by Box Design Studio Sdn Bhd has been identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Hannover Re Office earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
