CIFI Nansha Yaoyue Bay
CIFI Nansha Yaoyue Bay is a sales center located on the international finance island in Nansha District, Guangzhou, China. Water is the central theme of the interior. Decorations at the entrance resemble ripples spreading across water. The layered ceiling recalls the sea and the beach, and an irregular bench recalls sea spray. Curved forms are used throughout to soften the enclosed space. Materials include plated metal, resin, marble, leather and acrylic fiber carpet. The design turns local culture and coastal scenery into interior art that is both decorative and practical.
CIFI Nansha Yaoyue Bay Sales Center by 10 Degrees Design was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. CIFI Nansha Yaoyue Bay Sales Center won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
