Purpose of Leisure
Purpose of Leisure is the interior design of a five-story single-family house in Taiwan. Large windows on three sides bring daylight into the rooms, and scrim curtains soften the light. Selected marble covers the main wall of the public area, and the same marble continues into the dining area. Light gray and nude tones, with white and earth colors, are used throughout. The master bedroom has wooden flooring that matches the light tan curtains. A wraparound desk forms the main feature of the study on the top floor.
Purpose of Leisure Residential by Dr.W design team has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Purpose of Leisure Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
