MontGras Handcrafted
MontGras Handcrafted is a wine label series created for five Chilean wines made from rare grape varieties harvested in 2020. Each label merges two pieces of art, the signature of the winemaker and a different typographic treatment of the vintage number, while a shared graphic line unites the five designs. The labels are printed on self-adhesive, uncoated, water-resistant paper that resists aging and ultraviolet light. Gold foil, die cutting, silkscreen varnish with relief and a matte protective varnish complete the finish. A wax capsule seals each bottle.
MontGras Handcrafted Wine Packaging by Ximena Ureta was selected as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. MontGras Handcrafted Wine Packaging was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
