Authenticity
Authenticity is a residential interior design completed in Taichung, Taiwan. The 132 square meter home is inspired by Wabi-sabi, a concept drawn from Japanese aesthetics, and follows a theme of tranquility. Dark wood, steel and black stone create a simple and calm atmosphere. Wood flooring marks the living room, while black stone defines the dining area. A glass brick wall brings natural light into the interior. Ample storage is provided, and eco-friendly, low formaldehyde and water resistant materials are used throughout.
Authenticity Residence by Wei-Li Liu has been recognized as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Authenticity Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
