Accessible Luxury
Light Colors Accessible Luxury is a residential interior design for a 99 square meter home in Taiwan. The layout contains three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms and a kitchen. An open plan allows daylight from the floor-to-ceiling windows to reach the inner areas. Mirrors placed near the entrance and the dining area extend the view within the long and narrow space. Materials include marble, glass, iron parts and warm wood tones. The reduced palette of gray and white supports a calm and simple living scene.
Accessible Luxury Residential House by Chih Ting Chen has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Accessible Luxury Residential House received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
