Kerloso Wine
Kerloso Wine is a packaging design for a red wine from Chile. The label shows the scene sailors saw when they first landed on Easter Island, including stone statues, a volcano, flowers, a deer and birds. The bottle is wrapped in natural imitation rice paper, bound with straw rope and decorated with a piece of natural bluestone, the same material as the Moai statues. The top of the paper is burned by real flame, so each mark is unique. Different colors mark different grape types. The wrapped bottle stands about 35 centimeters high.
Kerloso Wine Packaging by Langcer Lee was identified as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Kerloso Wine Packaging won the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
