One Villa
One Villa is a residence located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, China. A symmetrical layout, simple lines and a Chinese-style spatial order recall traditional Jiangnan architecture. The slightly curved roof is a modern interpretation of traditional roofs. Metal roof panels, blue walls, dark grey tiles and bronze-colored metal grilles form the outer surfaces. The plan has three layers, a front gateway, a middle transitional space with a corridor and water feature, and a back courtyard with a viewing loft. The design offers a calm and secluded living environment.
One Villa Residence by SIA DESIGN has been recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. One Villa Residence won the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
